Hole Overview
The opening hole at Spring Park Golf Course is a short, straight par 4 that rewards precision and smart positioning from the tee. A well-placed drive sets up a short approach and an early birdie opportunity for golfers who manage the hole strategically.

The green is protected by classic Sandbelt bunkering and features a pronounced back-to-front slope, demanding astute distance management. A strong opening hole that encourages thoughtful play rather than power.

Playing Tips
Playing 286m from the Acacia tees, this hole is all about placement over distance. Choose a club from the tee that leaves a comfortable full wedge or short iron into the green, rather than trying to overpower the hole.

Favour the left-hand side of the fairway, as tee shots drifting right can become blocked out by the tree line and leave a difficult angle into the green.

On approach, keeping the ball below the hole is key. The green’s strong back-to-front slope can leave fast, slippery putts for shots that run long, while a controlled shot landing beneath the pin offers an excellent birdie chance.
