Etiquette and Dress Code
Spring Park Welcomes Everyone
At Spring Park Golf Course, we’re proud to offer a welcoming, enjoyable golfing experience for players of all levels. To ensure everyone has a great time at the facility, we kindly ask all members and guests to follow a few simple rules and etiquette guidelines.

Dress Code
We want you to feel comfortable while you are playing golf. That is why we are relaxed here at Spring Park Golf Course.
However, we do have standards because health and safety, and the comfort of our guests are important to us.
Golf Course:
- Dress neat and tidy. We recommend collared shirts on the golf course.
- No thongs.
- No singlets.
- No work boots.
- No caps to be worn inside the clubhouse
Golf Etiquette
To ensure all golfers have a great time on the golf course and the course remains in peak condition, please follow these simple rules:
- Each player must carry an individual bag of clubs.
- All divots must be replaced, and all bunkers must be raked.
- Don’t hold up play unduly.
- Don’t play until those in front are out of range.
- In taking practice swings, players should avoid causing damage to the golf course.
- If searching for a ball, signal following players through. Don’t start again until they are out of range.
- Replace flag stick in holes.
- Leave putting green immediately after putting is concluded.
- Golf carts must remain 10m from greens and tees and observe No Carts signage on course.
Behaviour Standards
Spring Park Golf Course respects the rights of every person to enjoy their visit. It is a requirement that patrons:
- Not use abusive, harmful, offensive, or threatening behaviour and/or language.
- Not physically threaten other patrons.
- Not conduct any behaviour or action that could injure others or damage equipment.
- Treat staff with respect. Intimidation or abuse is not acceptable.
- Respect the property, equipment, and resources of SPGC.
- Ensure your behaviour contributes to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Course Etiquette
Spring Park Golf Course enforces local rules to ensure the safety of patrons and the preservation of course condition:
- All golfers must check in with the Pro Shop prior to their round.
- Do not tee off before the first scheduled tee time of the day.
- Greenkeepers have right of way, respect their role and safety.
- Adhere to any local rules in place, including golf cart use based on course condition.
- Adhere to SPGC extreme weather policies.
- Patrons are to adhere to appropriate course etiquette as displayed on the First Tee Sign.
Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs
Spring Park Golf Course is a family friendly facility, as such we have the following rules:
- No BYO alcohol.
- No use of illicit substances or drugs.
- Smoking, vapes and e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking areas around the facility.
- Management reserve the right to inspect belongings and confiscate any alcohol or drugs.
Photography
Photography of our beautiful golf course is encouraged.
However, we do have rules around photography for the safety of all patrons:
- Taking photographs of other patrons without their consent is not permitted.
- Taking photographs of minors without the consent of a parent or guardian is not permitted.
- Taking photographs in the changerooms & toilets is not permitted.
